''One Man Dog'' is singer-songwriter James Taylor's fourth studio album. Released in 1972, it features the hit "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight", which peaked at #14 on the Billboard charts on January 13, 1973. The follow-up single, "One Man Parade", also charted but less successfully, peaking at #67 in the U.S. and reaching #55 on the Canadian Adult Contemporary chart. It was a concept album primarily recorded in Taylor's home studio. James' sister Kate Taylor performs a verse and provides backing vocals on "One Morning In May", and Taylor's previous album is referenced in the lyrics of "Woh, Don't You Know". First pressings of the album had the title printed only on the spine, while subsequent pressings added the blue typeface to the front image. The album is made up of 18 short pieces strung together. It climbed to #4 on the US ''Billboard'' Pop Albums chart. Most records were in Quadraphonic sound. 〕 | rev2 = Robert Christgau | rev2Score = |rev3 = MusicHound |rev3score = 2/5 | rev4 = ''Rolling Stone'' | rev4score = (favorable) | rev5 = ''The Rolling Stone Album Guide'' | rev5Score = 〔 Portions posted at 〕 | noprose = yes }} ==Track listing== All songs by James Taylor unless otherwise noted. #"One Man Parade" – 3:10 #"Nobody But You" – 2:57 #"Chili Dog" – 1:35 #"Fool for You" – 1:42 #"Instrumental I" – 0:55 #"New Tune" – 1:35 #"Back on the Street Again" (Danny Kortchmar) – 3:00 #"Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight" – 2:34 #"Woh, Don't You Know" (Kortchmar, Leland Sklar, Taylor) – 2:10 #"One Morning in May" (Traditional) – 2:54 #"Instrumental II" – 1:41 #"Someone" (John McLaughlin) – 3:36 #"Hymn" – 2:24 #"Fanfare" – 2:33 #"Little David" – 1:00 #"Mescalito" – 0:29 #"Dance" – 2:07 #"Jig" – 1:13 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「One Man Dog」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
